We design amazing Cinco De Mayo Flyers with elements from Mexican culture, sexy women and amazing detail.
Most people mistakenly think Cinco De Mayo is Mexican Independence Day, but that is incorrect. Mexico's independence day is September 16th Known as El Grito de La Independencia or El Grito De Dolores, it commemorates the Cry of Dolores that initiated the war of Mexican independence from Spain. The Cry of Dolores[n 1] (Spanish: Grito de Dolores) is a historical event that occurred in Dolores (now Dolores Hidalgo), Mexico, in the early morning of 16 September 1810. Roman Catholic priest Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla rang the bell of his church and gave the pronunciamiento (call to arms) that triggered the Mexican War of Independence.
Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. While it is actually A relatively minor holiday in Mexico in comparison with Mexican Independence Day, in the United States Cinco de Mayo has evolved into a commemoration of Mexican culture and heritage, particularly in areas with large Mexican-American populations. And is usually bigger in The United States than Mexican Independence Day which is why people probably get the two confused.
In Denver Colorado for instance, Cinco De Mayo actually is pretty big and has a large celebration every year in Downtown Denver with the streets of Broadway and Civic Center blocked off near the capitol building with a huge array of vendors and restaurants selling food and items throughout the two day weekend-long festival on the Saturday and Sunday closest to the 5th of May. Many nightclubs throw parties for Cinco De Mayo and we design a bunch of flyers for many of the Cinco de Mayo Parties in Denver and across the nation.
